Although the big red shed has made moves away from it’s bargain basement beginnings, it’s still a solid option for a multitude of products for sale.

It’s helpful to know which payment methods The Warehouse offers to find the one that best suits you.

As well as their own gift cards and the usual eftpos and debit cards, The Warehouse offers a range of payment methods to suit.

Does The Warehouse Accept Afterpay?

The Warehouse does not offer afterpay at this time.

The Warehouse does accept payments, both online and in-store, from a similar service called Zip for purchases between $50 and $1000 in-store, and between $50 and $1500 online.

Does The Warehouse do Layby?

The Warehouse does offer Layby on purchases over $50, at all locations, but not online.

There are some conditions which must be met for a layby to be approved.

These are a minimum 20% deposit and monthly payments made to the store that holds your layby.

The Layby term is three months as standard but can be extended out to 6 months for high-value items at the store manager’s discretion. All laybys are also subject to a $10 cancellation fee.

Does The Warehouse Accept Prezzy Cards?

The Warehouse does accept Prezzy Cards, both online and in-store.

In fact, Prezzy Cards can be used anywhere that accepts Visa or Mastercard.

Does the Warehouse Accept WINZ Payment Cards?

We checked via Online chat, and The Warehouse does not accept WINZ payment cards.

Does The Warehouse Accept Gem Visa?

The Warehouse does not accept Gem Visa.

Does The Warehouse Accept Farmers Cards?

The Warehouse does not accept Farmers Cards for payments.

Does The Warehouse do Humm?

The Warehouse does not accept Humm at this time. A full list of retailers that accept Humm can be found here.

Does the Warehouse Do Hire Purchases?

The Warehouse does hire purchases on items over $249 through a firm called Finance Now.

The term of the hire purchase can be set at between 3 and 60 months, with a $55 establishment fee and a monthly service fee of $1.80.

Does the Warehouse Have Paywave?

The Warehouse does offer paywave in-store on purchases up to $200. 

Does the Warehouse Take Q Card?

The Warehouse does accept Q card for purchases, both online and in-store. 

Does The Warehouse Accept American Express (AMEX)?

The Warehouse accepts American Express for all purchases.

Does The Warehouse accept Farmlands/CRT payments?

The warehouse accepts Farmlands/CRT for in-store purchases only. 

Does the Warehouse Take Apple Pay?

Apple Pay is accepted anywhere that offers contactless payments. Like most New Zealand retailers, The Warehouse has made a big effort to go contactless over the past few years.

This means you can use Apple Pay at any of the registers or self-check kiosks at The Warehouse stores across New Zealand.
