Farmers is a New Zealand favourite – offering a wide range of homeware, clothing, appliances, perfume, makeup and more.

Many of us parents wait for the Farmers Toy Sale each year to stock up on Christmas presents.

So it’s helpful to know which payment methods Farmers accept so you can ensure you are able to use your preferred payment method when shopping at Farmers.

Farmers Payment Options

With the rise of digital payments and the increasing use of mobile devices, traditional payment methods such as cash and eftpos are becoming less popular.

In this article, we will explore some of the different payment methods that Farmers offer.

How does the Farmers Finance Card work?

The Farmers Finance Card (or as my mum would say – Farmers Card) is simply a store card offered for Farmers customers. 

You can use your Farmers Finance Card at petrol stations, dental surgeries and other outlets, as well as Farmers (of course). 

Does Farmers have Afterpay?

Farmers now accept Afterpay. Farmers previously offered a buy now pay later option through a company called Humm, which ceased operating in New Zealand in late 2022.

Does Farmers have Zip?

Farmers do not offer Zip at this time. Their only similar buy now, pay later service offered is Afterpay. 

Does Farmers have layby?

Farmers do not offer a layby service.

Does Farmers accept Prezzy cards?

Yes, Farmers accept Prezzy cards. In fact, all retailers who accept Visa and Mastercard accept Prezzy cards.

Does Farmers accept WINZ payment cards?

Some Farmers stores accept WINZ payment cards. It is best to call ahead and check if your preferred store accepts this payment method before you do your shopping.

Does Farmers accept Gem Visa?

Farmers do not accept Gem Visa. 

Does Farmers take Farmlands Card?

Farmers do not accept Farmlands Card.

Which petrol stations accept the Farmers Finance Card?
